In this modern mezzanine warehouse building in Thailand, the installation of PIR panels provided by YiRong is progressing smoothly and comprehensively. The project makes full use of space, with the ground floor designated as the core low-temperature cold storage area. 1. Establishing the Wall Panel System
The workers begin by erecting the wall panels. Standard-sized PIR panels are vertically hoisted and, through a professional interlocking method, the unique "hook-and-loop" or "groove" structure between the panels is tightly locked together. This connection method is almost seamless; from the inside, the joints are flat and continuous. At the joints of the panels, construction workers meticulously inject specialized polyurethane sealant to ensure all potential cold bridges and gaps are completely sealed, laying a solid foundation for the airtightness of the cold storage.
2. Precise Installation of the Top Panels
Simultaneously, the PIR cold storage panels are being mechanically hoisted to the top. These panels need to bear their own weight and be securely connected to the steel structure mezzanine above. Installers work collaboratively on an aerial work platform to ensure each panel is placed horizontally and vertically, perfectly aligning with the wall panel system to form a complete inner shell.
3. Superior Material Properties Revealed
You can clearly see that the metallic surface of these PIR panels (usually high-quality galvanized steel or color-coated steel) is smooth and flat, while the core PIR (polyisocyanate) material is key to its superior performance. Compared to ordinary polyurethane, PIR material has superior fire-retardant properties, greatly enhancing the safety of the cold storage. Meanwhile, its extremely high closed-cell ratio and low thermal conductivity mean that it acts like a thick yet lightweight super-insulating suit for the cold storage, effectively preventing the intrusion of intense heat from the tropical climate outside. This ensures a significant reduction in the energy consumption of the internal refrigeration unit, making its operation more economical.

The entire installation site was orderly.
