50mm thick polystyrene sandwich panels help agricultural storage in Peru

The sunlight of the Peruvian plateau is shining on the open space of Santa Maria Farm, and a silver gray metal frame has quietly erected. This is the framework set up by the customer for the construction of a new agricultural storage warehouse, and they are currently waiting for the arrival of the 'outer garment'.

At 10 o'clock in the morning, a truck loaded with 50mm thick polystyrene sandwich panels slowly drove into the construction site. The gray and white metal plates are neatly arranged, emitting a uniform luster in the sunlight. Closely, the outer layer of each plate is 0.5mm thick aluminum zinc plated steel plate, and the inner layer is soft white foam core. This 50mm "sandwich" structure is the main character of the enclosure tailored for agricultural storage warehouses.

The 50mm polystyrene core material is the key, it is like a "thermal insulation blanket" that can keep the temperature inside the warehouse 5-8 ℃ lower than the outside. Even if the humid and hot air from Peru's rainy season comes in, it can be firmly blocked. The outer layer of aluminum zinc coated steel plate is more like a "protective shell", which can withstand the daily scratches of agricultural machinery on the farm and will not rust after ten years of rain erosion. The most wonderful thing is the porous structure of the core material, which also hides a bit of "breathing sensation". Slight water vapor can diffuse through the pores, avoiding the crops in the warehouse from getting damp and moldy.

This batch of polystyrene sandwich panel has been customized in advance according to the span (8 meters) and height (4 meters) of the warehouse, with bolt holes reserved at both ends of each panel. From the pillar to the purlin, simply align and tighten the screws, and it will take half a day to enclose the entire wall. After all the installations are completed, this storage bin can hold 200 tons of corn and potatoes, and there is no need to worry about rainstorm damaging crops and high temperature spoiling grain.
